A superb and highly popular family area to buy a property in Tenerife is the historic town of Los Cristianos. It has so much to offer you and will tick most of your boxes.

Historically it was a small fishing village, but in recent years it has grown into a very popular town both for tourists and residents too, yet it still maintains its charm and charisma. There are lots to do in Los Cristianos and it hosts an array of really good shops bars and restaurants. The famous Las Vistas beach has won several awards including (cleanest beach) and from the far end of the beach you can easily stroll to "The Golden Mile" in Playa de Las Americas and the famous "Oasis shopping centre" / "The Safari centre"

You can actually walk from the far end of Los Cristianos past Playa de Las Americas and Playa del Duque to La Caleta as the promenade is fully pedestrianised!

The town centre hosts the popular Church and church square which is fantastic when there are the local fiestas. Just a short walk from the Los Cristianos square there is the Old Puerto (Port) where you will see local fishermen with their fishing boats, fresh fish stalls and restaurants one of the best we recommend is El Cine (The Cinema). You can also catch a ferry to
visit La Gomera, La Palma or El Hierro.

Just around the corner from the port there is trendy Latino area of San Telmo which overlooks the Las Vistas beach and offers some top quality popular and affordable restaurants, (Sama Sama, Watermelon, Habibi, Sal Negra) and also a few small nightclubs and bars.

There are lots of properties to choose from and popular complexes such as San Marino, Castle Harbour, Royal Palm, Paloma Beach, and Cristian Sur all have a full tourist licences. You can achieve a great holiday rental income for your investment. The Residential complexes of El Rincón, Playa Graciosa, El Mirador, Port Royale and Parque Tropical are quieter and short term holiday rental is not permitted.

If you are looking for a larger house in Los Cristianos then the budget can be much higher. The most popular complexes are; La Perla, Mesetas del Mar, Vista Hermosa, Los Arcos and Los Cardones which are to the far end of Los Cristianos where you will find the popular Arona Grand Hotel. The complex of La Punta has bungalow style houses and is at the San Telmo side of Los Cristianos. Close to El Camison and also the Golden mile of Playa de Las Americas.
